Thus saving daylight in the evening instead of 5 in the morning when it wouldn't benefit anyone. Daylight savings time also saves 1% a day on utility bills in the US everyday. theshark8777 10-28-2002, 09:21 AM All these years and I just learned its not Daylight Savings time, its daylight saving time. Here's an interesting website to read about it. http://www.energy.ca.gov/daylightsaving.html Blair85 10-28-2002, 12:34 PM Originally posted by theshark8777 All these years and I just learned its not Daylight Savings time, its daylight saving time. I like the real time much better. Isn't there a state that doesn't have daylight saving time? Yea, the only place in Indiana that does observe DST is Gary, East Chicago, Munster, and the surrounding area, so just the northwest corner. theshark8777 10-28-2002, 09:44 PM Originally posted by Blair85 Isn't there a state that doesn't have daylight saving time? Hawaii also doesn't have it, but I guess if you live in Hawaii, you don't really need it!!! |
