Daylight Savings Time lasts from when the clocks go ahead an hour to when they go back in October. So Daylight Savings time ended and now we're back to 'normal' ;)

Because in the spring when we move the clocks ahead it makes the daylight hours last longer in the evening. Thus saving daylight in the evening instead of 5 in the morning when it wouldn't benefit anyone. Daylight savings time also saves 1% a day on utility bills in the US everyday.

All these years and I just learned its not Daylight Savings time, its daylight saving time. Here's an interesting website to read about it. http://www.energy.ca.gov/daylightsaving.html

Yeah, I found that out last year when I kept blabbing about how I didn't like daylight saving time & whoever I was talking to told me it was daylight saving time. I like the real time much better. Isn't there a state that doesn't have daylight saving time?

Yeah, I think Indiana and Arizona don't have it.

Yea, the only place in Indiana that does observe DST is Gary, East Chicago, Munster, and the surrounding area, so just the northwest corner.

Hawaii also doesn't have it, but I guess if you live in Hawaii, you don't really need it!!!
