We count down my favorite Top 5 Gilligan's Island Episodes. In this revised video, we look back at the classic 60's series that starred Bob Denver, who had recently finished a four year run on "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis". Alan Hale Jr., Jim Backus, Natalie Schafer, Tina Louise, Russell Johnson and Dawn Wells rounded out the cast. The three hour tour gone wrong lasted three years on the CBS-TV show. This was creator Sherwood Schwartz's first hit series.
A modest success during it's network run, the show became an enormous hit in syndication during the late 60's, throughout the 70's and on cable outlets like TBS in the 90's. The adventures of Gilligan, Skipper, Thurston Howell III, Lovee Howell, Ginger, the Professor and Mary Ann continue to amuse and entertain all these years later.
