As you can tell by my name, I'm a huge fan of the golden girls. And i recently found out that Estelle Getty made an appearence on Blossom AS SOPHIA from the golden girls. And i just came here to find out exactly how she was involved in the show. Was she on it for a long time or was it just a breif cameo.

i think that Dorothy had finally gotten Sophia to go to an old folks home in the Novembr Sweeps storyline but she "escaped" and began popping up on numerous NBC shows that had nothing to do with "Golden Girls".

Also, I think she was in more than just one episode of this show as well. She also appeared as Sophia on Empty Nest after the Golden Girls ended...
