FX‘s smash hit "Shōgun" will begin production on Season 2 in Vancouver in January, with new and returning faces joining Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis on the cast.



Season 1 cast set to return include:

Fumi Nikaidô as Ochiba
Shinnosuke Abe as Buntaro
Hiroto Kanai as Omi
Yoriko Dôguchi as Kiri
Tommy Bastow as Alvito
Yuko Miyamoto as Gin
Eita Okuno as Saeki
Yuka Kouri as Kiku



New cast members:

Asami Kizukawa as Aya
Masataka Kubota as Hyūga
Sho Kaneta as Hidenobu
Takaaki Enoki as Lord Ito
Jun Kunimura as Gōda




When the show returns, U.S. audiences will have new episodes available via linear on FX and streaming on Hulu. Internationally, the title will be available to stream on Disney+.

Season 1 can currently be watched on Hulu.

Production is underway in Vancouver.



Newcomer Risei Kukihara is Gabriel
Ryô Satô (Silence) is Rin
Seishiro Nishida (Atsuhime) is Jōshin
Mantaro Koichi (Emergency Room 24 Hours) is Saitō
Takashi Yamaguchi (Pachinko) is Kanō
