Try as I may, I can't see Topanga and Cory as a couple. They don't match up. Topanga and Shawn I could easily believe. They form an ideal couple. But Cory was the star so he had to have "the girl". Doesn't anyone else think that this is a major mismatch?

Yes, I'm right with you. They made a bad looking couple & I thought it was really unrealistic (not that TV has to be all that realistic), but come on, how many people date all through high school & college and end up married, when neither of them has a full time job? I really thought it was an interesting turn, every time Cory & Topanga broke up. They should've had both of them date others a little longer & more seriously. That's my opinion, for what it's worth. I'm glad I'm not the only person who didn't see C & T as the ideal couple.:rolleyes:

i guess i never really paid attention to whether they "looked good" together or not. i think i was focused more on their relationship. after they got married though, things got REALLY boring. but i don't think that had to do with what they looked like.

isn't it great that in the real world two people can fall in love and whether they look right together or not isn't an issue. :D

yes, i agree also. they so didnt look like a good couple. he was all dorky. i mean shawn was the one that got all the girls why coudnt he ahve had Topanga too? i think that epsiode where topanga and shanw kissed should've went farther...
