sundays.......and



there was one (only one season ?) primetime season that local news came



on at 10 30


pm each day on all three



networks (local stations0 (mon thru friday one season) and.....



sooo ........prime time schedule shows started at



7 30 and ended at 10 30.was trying to go to wiki prime time schedule and



see if kojak



started on sundays at 8 30 /eastern time during the prime time 1974-75 tv schedule

Primetime still starts Sundays at 7:00. 60 Minutes and America's Funniest Home Videos have been there a few centuries. ;) Weeknight primetime changed its start from 7:30 to 8:00 when the access hour law was passed to give local affiliates the whole 7PM hour.

tonight show (johnny carson)....soooo guess that the late night news really came on at 10 pm on all three local channels/tv stations



would come on each weeknight at 10 30 pm eastern time/9 30 central (not



sure about pacific and mountain time)....... time




and abc and maybe cbs also had



late night talk/chat interview shows at that time......
