Of all of Queen Latifah's comedic movies I would have to say the movie Beauty Shop is her funniest movie and since I'm a fan of Queen Latifah I had to see Beauty Shop and I didn't even know that it was a spinoff from the Barbershop series of movies starring Queen Latifah's Barbershop character Gina. But once you see Beauty Shop you'll howl with laughter. I also was surprised to see Kevin Bacon in this movie and he brings the laughs as Gina's boss and handles a French accent well done and Alicia Silverstone is flawless and the late Della Reese is full of humor. I wonder why a sequel to Beauty Shop wasn't made because it is one funny film
