It some things that are unclear about the characters-Mr. Angelino and Felipe

1. Why was Mr. Angelino taken off the show if he was part owner of Jack's Bistro?

2. Did Mr. Angelino sell the buliding to Mr. Bradford-Vicky's Father?

3. Did the chef Felipe get a new job at another restaurant?

I found it a little odd that these were just suddenly gone

Um didn't you hear Mr. Bradford say that he bought the building from Mr. Angelino? He was never in the finale, but was mentioned.

Workers come and go, E.Z. was the new chef in Three's a Crowd. Felipe left after season 7. Mr. Angelino was still in season 8, he never left, but he was not in the finale.

Jack fired Felipe from the Bistro also I think in season seven, and since Jack no longer worked at Angelino's there was no reason for his character to be seen any more.

Okayi wasn't sure if Mr. Bradford mentioned mr. Angelino but the writers could have atleast found a way to write Felipe out since he was in several episodes. I Think the Cousin Cuisine episode was his last

His last was "The impossible Dream". Felipe was no longer working for Jack since he worked at Angelino's and Jack had his own restaurant now. Why would he have to show up any more? We are led to assume that Felipe continued his job at Angelino's after this episode . . .

Remember Jack use to work at Angelino's before he got his own Bistro? Well, Felipe still worked there when Jack got his own bistro, but he did help out it seems a few times at Jack's Bistro.

I think Jack fired Mr Furley episode 138 "The Impossible Dream", but he could'nt have fired Felipe since he was only "on loan" from Mr Angelino.
I could be wrong.

re: Felipe and Angelino...

I can't help the string about what the writers did with the characters.

But, even as a little kid watching the show, it seemed that the writing of characters in and out of 3's Company was just wrong. They just disappeared. (So did Lana, one of the funniest characters yet.)

I think it shows truth in Joyce and Patricia's comment in the E! True Hollywood story of the producers just being scum. Sad truth is that the show was a sponge to collect the money then harvest it for the producers. Poor actors were used then kicked aside.

Not to sound bitter or anything.

It did not matter to me since I did not like either one of them.

Who cares about the minor characters - major characters like Chrissy and Cindy disappeared without explanation also(at least from the show's standpoint, as we know the real reason was the actresses left the series). Chrissy was only supposed to be visting her parents temporarily but she never returned, and Cindy appeared for a year after she moved out but then was never mentioned again.

Felipe was fired from Jack's Bistro for exposing himself to customers. It's in the tag scene in the episode in which Jack tries to get a wine license for the bistro (season 7).

Was that tag scene shown on N@N? Probably not. Was the wine license episode Felipe' last appearance?

I think k272br has a good point. When Jack opened Jack's Bistro, Felipe was NOT hired on as head chef there. I think it's correct to say that Felipe continued to work at Angelino's and perhaps finally made it to the position of head chef that he wanted so much. In the few episodes where Felipe worked at Jack's Bistro, he was only there to assist but he wasn't a regular there.

In the episode "The Brunch", which was also Felipe's final appearance, Jack tells Mr. Angelino something like he will be too busy to cook anything since he will be too busy hosting all the customers, including the Reverend. Mr. Angelino then replies by saying something like, "Don't worry, I will send Felipe." Jack then makes some comment about being embarrassed to bother Felipe on his day off.

But the point is, when Mr. Angelino stated that he will send Felipe, the obvious implication is that Felipe still worked at Angelino's and Mr. Angelino was his direct boss. Therefore, I don't think Felipe could be fired by Jack because Jack was never his direct boss since Felipe was not actually employed at Jack's Bistro.
