My predictions,

Winnipeg, Dallas, Vegas, Los Angeles

Washington, Carolina, Ottawa. Tampa Bay

my Blue Jackets just missed the playoffs by 2 points, I think they could’ve beaten Washington but wouldn’t get past the second round.

Out of the teams that made it, I’ll probably root for Dallas, Ottawa. Winnipeg and Carolina

St Louis vs Winnipeg is my guess.....

EDIT:

Those are good ones Robby :)

Anyone but Toronto.

The Jets are flying under the radar. They won the Presidents' Trophy. There aren't many people talking about them as legitimate contenders. Defense wins championships. Connor Hellebuyck has been the best goalie in the league the past few seasons.

I'm rooting for Carolina, but they will have a tough road to the finals. I didn't like them trading for Mikko Rantanen and then trading him to Dallas.

No Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup since 1993. They have five teams in this year. Winnipeg and Toronto look like they could make a run.

ESPN probably won't be happy with two Canadian teams in the finals, but I think it will be Winnipeg vs. Toronto. Both franchises are due. Winnipeg wins in 7 games.

Maybe, but it won’t be their problem because TNT has the finals.

Who couldn’t be bothered to send announcers to Winnipeg

Kind of weird scheduling. A couple of series are already through 2 games whereas TB-FLA hasn’t even started yet.

If it can't be the Chicago Blackhawks, I'll go with my second favorite city. Las Vegas Golden Knights.

Pulled 3 times in 6 games. But it’d still be pretty gutsy to not start him in game 7 (assuming no big time rally by Winnipeg here in the third).

They aren't 100% healthy in this series. I still like their chances in Game 7 on home ice. St. Louis has played well down the stretch, so I knew it would be a long series.

I think they kind of overplay him in the regular season. He has been worn down in the playoffs.

They need to do a much better job of clearing the front of the net. Many of the goals have been from screen shots from long range. I don't know how he can see the puck.

Skinner weird. Either gives up like 5 a game or gets a shutout.

TJ

I jinxed Toronto. They did take Florida to 7 games. It's probably time for them to change their core. Mitch Marner is likely gone.

Edmonton has been surprisingly good defensively. Skinner gave up only one goal today.

They are only two wins away from a rematch with Florida. Florida is going to be tough to beat if/when they advance.

My oh so brilliant advice to Edmonton is to not fall behind three games to none this time.

Edmonton needs to win on home ice. If they win the first two games, I like their chances.

I'm going with the Oilers in 7 games. Connor McDavid wins his first Stanley Cup. A Canadian team wins for the first time since 1993.

I want to see this Mama Stanley celebrate.

The Oilers are surprisingly sticking with Stuart Skinner tonight. If they go down 3-1, the series is probably over.

Mr. Game 4 is 6-0 lifetime in Game 4, with a 1.26 goals-against average and a .955 save percentage, including two shutouts.

I don't know if the drought is going to end next season. We could be witnessing another dynasty like the Islanders and Oilers of the 1980s.

Florida could win 4 or 5 Cups if they keep their current core. They have no real weaknesses. Brad Marchand and Seth Jones were great additions. They can just keep re-loading.

Edmonton still feels close though. Maybe only a goaltender away. Easier said than acquired though.

That's a very sharp-looking t-shirt.

Maybe the third time will be the charm for Edmonton. If Bob and Skinner were swapped out, it could have been a different story. Florida has more scoring depth. Edmonton is beatable when McDavid and Draisaitl are shut down.

The ratings for the rematch dropped this year. The 4 Nations Face-Off ratings were much higher. I think all of the Finals should be available on broadcast television.

Stanley Cup Final ratings drop from '24, lower than 4 Nations (https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/45552055/stanley-cup-final-ratings-drop-24-lower-4-nations)
