View Full Version : What "bad movies" do you own?
Dude111 04-19-2025, 05:02 PM Well I have and love VHS and probably the worst movies I have are
Saw 1 (2004) and 2 (2005) -- I ordered 3 but I havent gotton it yet..
I dont like really mean evil movies........ Like I found V/H/S 2 on VHS (2013) and I couldnt watch it,it was so disgustingly mean...... I took it back to salvation army.........
I wonder why people think this is good??
SAW 1 and 2 and are about my limit...... After part 3 its just gets stupid and they start to reveal too much....... It ruins the suspense of the movie!!
How about ya'll??

SAW one was also too gory for me, so never bothered with the its sequels.
On top of my head, I would say the worst movie I have in my collection is the film Lions For Lambs. With stars such as Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise, one would thought it be an entertaining movie. But it is not as it was boring and disjointed with film characters that nobody cared about

JamesG 04-23-2025, 03:34 AM The concept of "bad and good movies" is subjective. A movie could make millions at the box office, but be totally hated by fans/critics. Titanic, in terms of box office sales, is a great film and there are people who hate it.
A movie could also flop at the theaters and be regarded as a "good" film. Troll 2 and The Room are horrible films if you look at them from a filmmaking point of view, however they have huge fanbases. Ticket sales and reviews does not mean something is "good" or "bad".
Regarding SAW, the original film is the least gory of the series as they up the gore in every subsequent film.
Torgo 04-23-2025, 12:55 PM I know my film tastes are questionable to some. I remember some horror films I thought of as classics, then when IMDB came around and looking them up there and seeing they weren't very popular. One example is the 1981 horror film Fear No Evil.
One of the more mainstream films I own and enjoy but it was critically panned, 10,000 BC.
I own a bunch of low budget horror films that are bad, some are 'so bad they're good', some are just plain bad, period.
A lot of those I have in the 50 movie DVD sets that came out years ago, two of those sets being: Tombs Of Terror, and Mortuary Of Madness.
Here are some bad films I own that I like (some I genuinely like, others I like because they're fun cheese):
Troll 2 (1990)
Blood Lake (1987)
Sledgehammer (1983)
The Last Slumber Party (1988)
Cheerleader Autopsy (2003)
Sleepover Nightmare (2005)
Things (1989)
Boardinghouse (1982)
Cannibal Campout (1988)
Woodchipper Massacre (1988)
Nail Gun Massacre (1985)
Drive-In Massacre (1976)
Microwave Massacre (1979)
Don't Go In The Woods (1981)
Don't Look In The Basement 2 (2015)
Attack Of The Killer Donuts (2016)
Howling III (1987)
Sorceress (1982)
Conquest (1983)
Galaxina (1980)

I remember those DVD set that had 50 movies or TV shows (including cartoons) on them and were selling for $5. Majority-if not all of the movies or shows on the disc were from Public Domain which meant you get them as it is. No audio or video clean up :)

Titanic was a very long and dry movie. When it was first released, people used to refer to it as a high budget TV show The Love Boat :D

Yeah, those sets were definitely quantity over quality.

Did you choose those movies based on the title, or the content :D
