Some of the pictures of Freddie are really nice but, some are starting to give me the willies........ Anyone else feel this way?

I agree with mariposa, that picture is scary, in my opinion. His eyes are way too frightening!

Well the picture of Freddie with the band aid but, especially the one with him asleep. I almost started to cry. That one really gave me the willies.

I guess you mean the pics from the book.

Sorry if the pic gave ya'll the willies as that wasn't my intent. I was trying to post the pic from the Playboy mag. They really goofed it up by fixing his head so it looked like pieces were cut out of it. Yuck! If they'er gonna put out a pic of him they shouldn't ruin it like that. I figure they may have been trying to show that his mind was messed up or something. But still we want to see him normal. I want to see him done properly. I tried to fix it by using a photo editing program & taking a portion of his skin & copying over the broken pieces to fix it. It evidently came out looking like a bandaid instead. Sorry about that. I hope my other pictures weren't too scary. But that's Playboy for ya, they can't even do justice to a picture of him. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

I must have missed something too. Are these pictures posted somewhere? If so, where? I would like to see them. I've been out of the realm for a while with the flu and I would appreciate looking at something other than a Ny-quil bottle.

Hey Esmerelda...I think I know what pics everyone's talking about. I was running thru all the posts that I've missed and Cheryl Harrell..(sp?) posted a drawing of Freddie that she miraculously put back together...really good job...but I can't for the life of me remember which thread I saw it on...must be the Ny-quil..lol. Hey, you can e-mail me anytime...hardinfamily01@aol.com but only if you promise to read my fan fiction that got posted at Starshine's site and tell me what you think...I probably sound like I'm pimping this story out(actually, I am but don't tell anyone...lol) but it's got hottie potential...I think. Anyway, drop me a line.

Esmerelda...I found which thread those pictures are on...they are on "As told by his mother...Maria Pruetzel" posted by Traci Prinze. The two pictures are on page four but the whole thread is reaaly good. I read it from beginning to end and cried like a baby. The pictures just accentuate the whole story that goes along with it...take a few moments and read it but don't forget the kleenex!

Sorry I didn't do a better job in trying to fix the pic but I'm new at this & no expert LOL! I didn't mean to make folks sad inserting it on the boards. I was getting sad anyway reading all the sad stuff. But glad to read it & know what happened...

I think you did a wonderful job on the picture. Believe me, I know how long of a process it can be to restore a photo...I dabble in it myself. But Freddie is such a wonderful subject...it truly turns into a labor of love.
Thanks for the input on the fan fic. over at the yahoo club. I have written short stories in the past but this is the first time I dare let anyone read my stuff. It's like letting your first born go out into the world...lol.
Anyway, thanks again for the great work on the pic...it's mucho appreciado.

Thanks for the compliments on the pic. I think I scared some folks with the pic by accident with his bandaid on face type look. That's PB magazine for ya! By the way...I read in the same thread where you posted the pics of some other pictures somewhere...Freddie sleeping or something? Did you post those and if so...where? I would be interested in seeing them...the past few hours have been so extraordinarily sad what with reading Tracy's excerpts from Maria Preutzel's book. How tragic and devastating...it really brings it all home to hear of the pain and suffering that young man went through. I feel so sad...and in some way...I feel lost.
