That “no one” talks about?

Hmmmm….

George Cooper (The father) - He’s not as stupid as he’s portrayed in The Big Bang Theory (TBBT) where it was claimed that he fought a cactus one time. While it was amusing to laugh at the unseen character of Sheldon’s late father on the first series, when we (the audience) finally “meet him”, he just an average guy who actually seems to possess a great deal of emotional intelligence for a man in the rural South in the 1980s.
Mary Cooper’s prejudice - The Mary Cooper shown in TBBT was quite prejudiced, getting close to the point where it wasn’t amusing. However in the Young Sheldon series, she not only accepts George’s black friend and fellow coach, she isn’t offensive toward Tam, Sheldon's erstwhile Asian-American best friend. Basically there’s a disconnect between the characters in both series as it’s difficult to see how Mary aged into something that she wasn’t when she was younger.
Meemaw is a criminal - While it’s done amusingly in the series, she runs illegal gambling concerns, reels in her grandson into almost undertaking a life of crime, and she very nearly goes to prison several times herself. Instead of using her obvious abilities to run legal businesses,Meemaw apparently likes to live on the edge which is a sign of a deep seated pathology or two. It’s a running joke on the series, but not really “funny”.
Sheldon’s behavior - Sheldon is simply a terrible person. The series seems to avoid making him autistic, which would explain any number of his behaviors, and tries to make it appear that his “intelligence” is the foundation of his social dysfunction. Sheldon is a spoiled and arrogant child who grows into a spoiled and arrogant man. His parents do very little to temper his self-destructive behaviors, and they unleash upon the world an individual so distasteful that the laugh track on TBBT can barely conceal how unfunny most of his actions and statements really are. Sheldon Cooper is a real a*shole and both series seem to venerate that.
George Jr. (Georgie) is oddly the most likeable individual on both series from the Cooper Family, yet the narrative never explains why that is, exactly - In TBBT, despite years of being ignored and disliked by Sheldon (unfairly, it turns out) he’s willing to be part of his wedding ceremony. While he clashes with his father, neither one says or does anything to permanently harm their relationship. And even though Mandy is much older than he is and clearly emotionally unstable, their marriage seems to mostly trouble-free considering that he’s living in his wife’s family. Basically he’s best part of the second series, briefly one of the best of the first one.

^^^ MeMaw is most definitely a person who needs to be in the lady pokey and during last night's episode of Georgie and Mandy's show, she was almost turned in. I am hoping that it still happens at some point later on, but she said that if she goes down, she will take Mandy down with her. :( :( :(

God bless you always!!!
