So a couple of days ago I got a PM from the user snowreev(who despite joining back in December 2022 still has not made a single post or topic) saying they knew someone called Zenith that had a DVD set of the 80s Hanna-Barbera Little Rascals cartoon and was selling it for a reasonable price and gave me Zenith's email(which is different from the one listed in snowreev's profile so I don't know if they are both the same person or not), I messaged Zenith and they got back to me quickly and after some back and forth we agreed for me to send money to his wife's Paypal account(or so he claimed it was)but after I sent the money i've not heard from him since and i'm curious if anyone on here has gotten messages from snowreev or traded with Zenith? Cause i'm starting to get a bit suspicious myself(Paypal initially blocked the payment thinking it was a scam so I had to split up the payment into three separate payments of 10 bucks each to get them to go through, I didn't think anything of it because I heard a lot of stories from other PP users of their own legit payments getting falsely flagged as scams so I thought that might've been the case with me as well. Zenith also asked me to send them screenshots of each of the PP transactions, which was the same request i'd gotten from some people that scammed me on one of the VHS Facebook groups that i'm a member of, lastly he initially wanted me to do a bank transfer which was the same method Andrew Truppa used to scam me on here).

If snowreev and Zenith are on the level please do let me know.

Yup that's shady as hell for sure, i'm 100% convinced this snowreev/Zenith guy is a scammer now. So a PSA for everyone else on here-if you receive an unsolicited PM from that user saying they have a show you are looking for just ignore them.

I'm surprised you would fall for that. That's definitely a scammer. Never send first, money or otherwise unless they have a lot of good history on SOL. Make them send first. if you are a reputable user and they won't send first then don't bother with them. I've never had anyone refuse to send first who wasn't a scammer

I'm surprised myself, it was the fact that the guy was giving an email to someone else that threw me off, never seen that in a scam before but now I know to be aware of it.

Probably because they never made any posts on the forums? They might be trying to skirt around the rules that way.

He played it very convincing but he wouldn't give screenshots or a short clip, so I had my suspicions even before I saw this thread.

"Snowreev" promotes "Zenith" to pull this off. They don't do anything bad here inside this forum.

The paypal address they use - I feel like I'm allowed to post it because it's a scam - is jeepsrun2024@gmail.com.

Snowreev is already banned, but I posted a link to this thread on Zenith's profile page.

It's not my responsibility to follow and read all these threads. If someone reports a post or raises an issue to me privately, then maybe I will investigate it. I'm not going to get involved in every little disagreement on here. People should use some common sense when it comes to dealing with people.

So what would you like me to do about a thread from 2018? Ohio is a pretty big state. There are no matching IP addresses between KRW and GothamRiddler.

Anything is possible. Let's say that was KRW on another account. Maybe he has changed his ways. I see some positive feedback.

See i knew that! i was right! I knew Jeff1990 was HeavensDoor.

I figured it out a different way.

Heavens door offered me here that Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me upgrade. Before posting on sitcoms he posted on reddit the same Austin Powers upgrade. As you can see, they also requested that crazy house movie which the same day he posts on his facebook account about the same thing so i put two and two together and figured it out.

Yeah, HeavenGate is my alternate mock up account created to essentially make fun of the other alternate account HeavensDoor, Jeff1990 created.

Jeff1990 tried to trade with me on a alternate account HeavensDoor84 back in January. Which is weird cause he won't trade with me on his normal account but will send people who want to trade with him over to me in hopes they can trick me into trading for stuff i don't want so they themselves can get the trade.

Even before TJ confirmed it was Jeff1990 on the HeavensDoor84 account i even called him out for being Jeff here when he tried to trade with me on the alt account. Jeff lies a lot and even denied to was him at the time.

Jeff1990 wasn't even that active on this website til i returned in January, and since then he just lurks on the website and bumps his posts to the top to have a pissing match with me. He's almost a stalker at this point. It's weird.

On the topic of KRW / Gothamriddler, i know Gothamriddler is from Ohio. So if KRW's IP is also from Ohio that is a good sign it might be him. It's been a long time so that's why their IP addresses don't match.

KRW has been making good trades since then but classic trading rules say you have to make good on your trades before you get taken off the bad trader list.
