This morning I got to see GSN's Tic-Tac Dough on Frindly TV today and how in the world did GSN think of reviving Tic-Tac Dough? For one thing they try to make it seem like a brand new remix of Tic-Tac Dough rather than a revival. Because this version uses computer animated graphics and the gameplay is really weak. I also cannot figure out how they got Brooke Burns to be the host but ever since The Chase Brooke Burns has become the queen of GSN because this is her third game show she has done for GSN but she is very weak. I also cannot figure out why the bonus round has such a small amount of winnings but it looks like they made it look odd too. But at least they have the famous dragon of Tic-Tac Dough and he looks like a blue version of Elliott from Disney's Pete's Dragon. I guarantee this show won't survive to see a Season 2 but it should be improved greatly
Overall Grade: C

Just like when they announced The Pyramid when Dick Clark passed away I think GSN was so eager to put a debut date on the Tic-Tac Dough revival because look what happened after the debut episode aired? Wink Martindale passed away. And what I think GSN tried to do was rush the episodes out and they should've had more time to promote Tic-Tac Dough. I also think people were expecting it to be like the 1990 Patrick Wayne version. But they should have picked a better host because I think the main reason why they chose Brooke Burns is because since she hosted The Chase and Masterminds Brooke wants to be the queen of GSN and she hopes to be one of GSN's biggest superstars. But as I mentioned in my opening post this show will see a cancellation soon enough

GSN was hardly rushing this. The original premiere month was announced for August last year, so it was delayed a full 8 months.

I do not wish any illness on this man at all, but after the premiere of the GSN version, I bet Wink Martindale got sick from watching this. If of course he knew about it or not, but then again, I doubt that he was aware about it at all.

Too bad the revival is getting so many haters. I really like the current version, it is a keeper.

I'm assuming its more of the formats' fault and less of Burns' fault.

I think had the 2021 pilot aired with Tom Bergeron, he would've been good although not in the level of Wink Martindale but still would've been ok.

But I think people would've had a problem with the sassy attitude cgi dragon quite possibly being a stereotype of loud mouthed black women in America, but of course I digress.

The first thing I did when I started this endeavor over 15 years ago was call one of the big things that stunk about Tic Tac Dough 1990 and that was Patrick Wayne. It's 2025, and we have a revival on GSN. Is it any good? Here's my review.
