As a neilson family, what I watch does count for the ratings. So I figured that on this thread for every night for the rest of the season...I would tell you what I watched. That way you'll have an idea of what I watch to either help the ratings, or just watch it for enjoyment...which I always do. I also include a little review next to it saying to whether or not I shall continue watching it...or say GOODBYE to it! Here is what I watched this evening:

8:00: Providence [NBC] - This week's episode of Providence was quite good actually, and I'm disappointed for it to be cancelled. However, I will try my best to watch the show throughout the rest, and keep those ratings up!

9:00: Hack [CBS] - What a breathtaking episode! This show is just so intruguing and well-made. I will keep my eye on this one!!!

10:00: Robbert Homicide Division [CBS] - Sorry show...GOODBYE! This series is confusing, dull, limp, boring, and totally unrealistic. This week's episode put me right to sleep. In fact, I didn't watch it all. I would not recommend this one, and let it fall in the ratings.

What will I watch tommorrow??? Only Callmetootie knows!!!

I just find the relationships to be interesting, and not really what goes on around them. The father is excellent. I'd give it a B as a grade.

There are like only 350,000 people in my whole entire area including all towns, cities, etc...and I feel so lucky to be a sitcom/tv fan and to be a neilson family. AND...I will always watch something on the main non-cable networks from 8-11 eastern time, to make sure those ratings keep going!!!

As I remembered...someone called us up on the phone from the cable, tv, neilson, or whatever company and told us that we were a neilson family, and explained what that meant and everything. And I also remember a thing in the mail coming explaining it more in detail. It was COOL!:talk:

Yea, last spring this lady called my house and we got to be a Nielson house for a whole week. It's nothing big so don't think you're missing out on much.

Yea, My Family was a Nielson family too, all you do is write down what you watch and send it back to the Nielson people and they count all the ratings of what all the families watched I guess.

Here is what Callmetootie watched tonight, 10/26/02:

8:00 - NOTHING....sorry, had to meet one of my friends at the arcade on 42nd street....but I did get home by 8:45.

9:00 - The District [CBS] - The District is by-far, the best thing to watch on a saturday night. The action and subplots can be wild and crazy, but so intriguing at the same time. I'll keep my eye on this one. After all...it is not doing so well in the ratings. Last week it ranked at #41.

10:00 - The Agency [CBS] - Another solid CBS drama, but not as effective or interesting as The District. This week's episode was slow and mostly dull, but Dabney Coleman is just wonderful. If it does get worse however...I could be saying GOODBYE to this one.

I go to Broadway City arcade on 42nd Street. It's awesome. 3 floors...one has pinball and skee-ball, one has video games, and the other has a ton of pool tables, ping-pong, and that kinda stuff. There's also a small cafe I think.

Broadway City is the safest one in the 40th-60th street area around times square. There are about 2 others in which it is an all-black community, and once there was a fight between two of them, and 3 security guards had to stop them. In the end, the situation which was viewed by everyone in the arcade ended in possession of cocaine for both of them, and a dispute over it. That was one of them...the other one was dark and dusty, and I was scared to go in. Broadway City however is clean, family-oriented, and FUN!!!! :happyface

Amanda- A Neilson family is a family who counts towards the Neilson ratings for TV Shows. So say I watch..... American Dreams on Sunday and the viewers were 9.8 million. I'm one of them.

Here is what I Watched tonight:

8:00 - Becker [CBS] - It actually seems to get better and better every time! Love this show!

8:30 - Bram and Alice [CBS] - An improvement over the pilot, but down from last week's episode. The supporting cast needs a boost...but I keep my eye on this one anyways.

9:00 - Alias [ABC] - Sorry...but GOODBYE! This show just isn't good anymore...it's basically just fighting and crap...

10:00 - Practice [ABC] - Overall a weak episode, but I still think that the writing is excellent.

AND...since Sitcomwriter copied my idea of this...he will DIE!!!!

I am a neilson family...so what I watch counts towards the neilsons. This way people know that I am contributing my attnetion to one show which will get my rating. Confusing, yes...but it is quite interesting.

Here is what I watched this evening:

8:00 - Fear Factor [NBC] - Although this series is gross and mindless...I still think it's fun to watch. I'll keep watching most likely until it gets unbearably gross.

9:00 - Girls Club [FOX] - This series is actually quite good, and totally underrated. It's a chick show for sure...but I find it to be great also. The writing is fantastic!

10:00 - NOTHING IS ON!!!! CSI Miami I already said bye-bye to, I HATE football games, and I've already missed the first half of Third Watch! What's a callmetootie to do?

lol- Maybe we should all do something like that. I could start a 'Jenny's nails thread'. I change my nail polish a lot and that could be a thread that could get 11 pages within a month and a half. lol As of right now, the background is black. Then I took a small little paint brush and dipped the brush in green nail polish. I swirled the brush around my fingernails and did loopy designs and boxes and question marks and swirls. Tada :) lol

Edited: I'm starting to get in a Halloween mood. Hmmm.....what colors could I paint now. Orange and black would make the most sense. I just had an idea and I hope it works as well on my nails as the colors look in my mind.

P.S. I know nobody gives a damn about my fingernails.

Here is what I watched this beautiful snowy Tuesday evening:

8:00 - 8SR [ABC] - This episode was solid and good in general, but just really wasn't funny. It had no real plot and the laughs were few and far between. However, I'll watch it just for the sake of the great John Ritter.

8:30 - In-Laws [NBC] - This week's episode was clearly the best. I gave this series a GOODBYE notice after it's pilot but came back for a revisit. Jean Smart was great, and Dennis Farena was MUCH better.

9:00 - Frasier [NBC] - I dropped Life With Bonnie, so it's back to Frasier. This week's episode was sub-par. I'd give it a B- as a grade. Kelsey was great, and so was John, but David had about 2 minutes of screen time, and was dropped from the script. The ending was funny, but David who was always my favorite player's absence disappointed me.

9:30 - Less Than Perfect [ABC] - I just LOVE this show. Sara Rue is AMAZING and hilarious. She is the new Mary Tyler Moore. It shouldn't be Life With Bonnie...it should be Life With Sara. Give her back-to-back sitcoms and cancel that crappy LWB before it's ratings slip, and LTP goes down with it. Man I love being a neilson family.

10:00 - Judging Amy [CBS] - It went ABC, NBC, NBC, and then ABC in my list, and finally some CBS to go out with it. Amy Brenneman and Tyle Daly are TERRIFIC...the series is not. The writing is kinda silly and the action is painfully unrealistic. However, I will watch this just for Tyne...who was robbed at this year's emmys!!!

They are my real nails. I've heard too many horror stories to get acrillic (sp?) nails. I usually just paint my toes one color. They are green now. My fingernails have changed since last nights update. I painted the background a pearl color. Then I dipped the small paint brush in a pink color. (It looked orange from the bottle, but it turned out to be a pink color.) Swirled the pink around my nail to make kind of a maze around my fingernail. Then I took some black polish and did another maze. The pink maze is on top and and the black is right underneath the pink. I painted a black line on the right side of my nail.
