FX's "Adults", a new comedy series created by Ben Kronengold & Rebecca Shaw, will premiere on Wednesday, May 28.

The series features a creative team loaded with FX comedy veterans, including Nick Kroll (The League), Stefani Robinson (Atlanta, What We Do in the Shadows) under her overall deal with FX, Sarah Naftalis (What We Do in the Shadows) and Jonathan Krisel (Baskets, English Teacher).

FX's "Adults" will premiere on Wednesday, May 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX with its first two episodes. The entire eight-episode first season will become available the next day on Hulu and FX On Demand via television providers.

FX will continue to air two episodes each Wednesday for the following three weeks.

FX's "Adults" is an ensemble comedy series about a group of twenty-somethings in New York trying to be good people, despite being neither "good" nor "people" yet.

"Samir" (Malik Elassal), "Billie" (Lucy Freyer), "Paul Baker" (Jack Innanen), "Issa" (Amita Rao) and "Anton" (Owen Thiele) are five friends crashing together in Samir's childhood home, where they share their meals, anxieties and, occasionally, toothbrushes.

Charlie Cox, Julia Fox, D'Arcy Carden, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, John Reynolds and Ray Nicholson will guest star in the first season.

The comedy series from executive producer Nick Kroll and former Tonight Show writers Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, previously known as Snowflakes (https://deadline.com/2024/07/snowflakes-fx-comedy-series-1236025265/), follows five friends and "puts a slightly heightened twist on the wins, losses and humiliations of starting out in the adult world. Whether they’re trying to get ahead at work, navigating the healthcare system, hosting a dinner party or dating in the age of Find My Friends, the group is finding that nothing about the real world is simple, and all their best intentions tend to make things worse.” Adult premieres May 28.

FX’s New Comedy Lets Gen Z Take Center Stage, But I Didn’t See Myself In The Characters (https://screenrant.com/adults-tv-review/)

Despite being marketed as a show for Gen Z, Adults (https://screenrant.com/db/tv-show/adults/) misses the mark on this generation, finding solace in its moments of humor, not emotional appeals.

Adults is a Gen Z comedy that fortunately doesn't try to declare itself a standard-bearer for its entire generation (https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-reviews/adults-1235345628/)

'Adults' Is a Hangout Cringe Comedy for the Next Generation. The new FX/Hulu sitcom is a Gen Z (https://variety.com/2025/tv/reviews/adults-review-fx-gen-z-1236411063/) swing for the Friends fences that often connects.
