In 1996 Sony launched a line of videos called The Beginners Bible that quickly became a bestselling video series. The series was based on a children's bible series of the same name and to honor it's debut commercials were made. When you see these commercials you'll understand why this unique series of videos remain a hit with children 3 to 6 years old. The cartoon animation used in the videos gives the series a comic like feel but wholesome entertainment that teaches young children versions of classic stories from the bible. Each video had original songs and taught children lessons as well. The theme song for each video was titled The Greatest Story and sung by talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford. With Easter coming up this is a great video series to watch with your children and there is an Easter video in this series as well. The commercials for this series no longer exist today but the Beginners Bible Series is now sold on DVDs
