Ever since MTV launched their very first game show Remote Control in 1989 I never understood what made MTV interested in game shows? Was it because MTV wanted to add variety to the channel and they felt game shows were good starter shows? Because soon after the success of Remote Control they debuted Lip Service in 1993 and then the famous Singled Out in 1995 and I can see that game shows were strong winners for MTV and now it is shocking that MTV has not had another game show since. And I think MTV needs to launch a new game show that will gain an audience or they could go belly up
