Sharing Deadline’s reporting that Grace will play Daphne in the eight-episode series, her predecessor Sarah Michelle Gellar gave the actress her stamp of approval with a mention on her Instagram Story.

The series, officially titled “Scooby-Doo: Origins”, is now filming in Atlanta and is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
