What could be easier than this: You see an item online that you like, add it to the cart, pay for it and it will be at your door in 1 to 3 days. No dressing up and going to store is required as one can go shopping in their pajamas :)

I am a member at Walmart.com, and always check out their prices on clearance items online as sometime they sell them at insanely low prices. And if don't like the item, do an online "return item" ticket, take it back to store for full refund with no question asked.

I prefer online shopping. My once quiet little town now has tons of people and traffic and stores, I don't shop at (only Walmart or Target). Shopping online is easy, peasy.

It's so easy to find virtually anything, where the store might not have it. Many times I couldn't find some item in the store, but find it online. Some stores, like Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards, don't have some items in the store, but have them available on their website.

I do plenty of online shopping, Ebay mainly... BUT I gotta get out of the house! I don't like this newage do EVERYTHING from the bed culture most ppl tend to be gravitating toward.

I love going to the mall, going to dine-in restaurants, going to the movies, I HATE that much of that has gone away because no one ever wants to leave home

I think for most people it really all comes down to what is more convenient. Why go to movies when we can stream it on large screen tv at home, or go out to eat or shopping when DoorDash can deliver it to your door. It is in human nature to choose the least resistance path :)

For me the fun is GOING! There's just a special feeling about lining up for a midnight show, seeing people, getting your snacks, finding your seats, etc.... To me that's the fun part! And I look forward to going to a nice restaurant, the ambience, the seeing people, etc... I still love going to the bank, seeing the tellers, etc.... I may be in the wrong time, but I do value those things, because I don't have much anyone else in life at the moment.

I just hope it doesn't get to the point one day in the future of, "Why go on a vacation when we have the technology to implant all the memories in our brains without ever having to leave the house?!" That would be a VERY cold world IMO.

It just seems like the world now days just feels so....empty and everyone is robotic.
