I have never understood why Maxie's World was made or how it became somewhat of a hit in 1989? Because if you see an episode of Maxie's World I think Hasbro wanted to cash in on another series based on a toyline the same way that they did with Jem And The Holograms and they thought after the success of the Jem And The Holograms cartoon Hasbro thought the same thing would work with Maxie's World because Maxie dolls hit store shelves in 1987 and the cartoon would debut in syndication in 1989. But as I watched an episode of Maxie's World I can see why it was somewhat of a hit because it is similar to Jem And The Holograms minus the music videos and music storyline but Maxie's World seems to be identical to Beverly Hills Teens which some of the Beverly Hills Teens characters do appear in some Maxie's World episodes. But in my eyes Maxie's World was meant to sell Maxie dolls because more Maxie dolls were made by the end of the series but the line ended in the 90's. I also cannot figure out how Claster Entertainment co-produced the series along with DIC Entertainment and I think Sunbow Productions/Marvel Productions should've produced and animated Maxie's World since Sunbow Productions was owned by Hasbro in my eyes and that would've made it better
