I had to go to the craft store to get some paint for the painting I'm working on, and I totally got into the Christmas mood! It's only October! They already had all of the artificial trees out and the little snowmen and the ornaments and they were playing Christmas music too! I'm so excited! I can't wait until Christmas! Anyone else feel this way???

I do...... I've already bought some gifts and Christmas music. (again)......... :lol: This is my favorite holiday.

I'm gonna go to the Berkshire Mall this weekend and try to do more.

Not me....Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I'm focused on that right now. I'll be in the Christmas mood when I go home for Thanksgiving, though, seeing as how my mom already has all the decorations up by then.

I'm kind of in awe that it's almost Christmas time. Damn the year flew by.

I'm not a real fan of Christmas music. The only one that I like singing Xmas music is Elvis. It's time to crank up my E cd and listen to 'The First Noel'.

The grocery store I work at plays Christmas music the entire month of December. I get so sick of it because you end up hearing each song like 4 times a day. It gets on your nerves after a while. Sorry I don't mean to sound like such a Grinch.

I am not much of a Christmas person seriously. Its too cheery and stuff for me. I don't like mainly because all my cousins come over and are really really stuck up and perky, and my grandparents always say " Why can't you be more like your cousins," and then i usually say something like, " you want me too be a perky, slutty, lil bitch huh" GRRRRRRRRR I hate Christmas.

I love Thanksgiving though.

I adore Christmas music! I listen to the Christmas radio station evrey day during the season... My favorite songs is "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas".

I'm especially anxious for Christmas to get here this year. For one, we might not be going to my mom's parents this time (we're not really close to her family, so I really don't like going there for Christmas). And for another, three days after Christmas, our marching band is leaving for New Orleans to play at the Sugar Bowl (erm... not play football, obviously, but play music)

Has anyone ever heard that song "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" ? I don't know who sings it but it is hilarious. I crack up whenever I hear it.

Maybe someone can tell me the title, artist, and the rest of the lyrics to the following songs, lol... I heard them in my elementry school and really liked them.

I hate Christmas - it's even more depressing than New Years Eve. At least there are decent shows on the TV at New Years (I dunno about Americans, but the Scots really go crazy at New Year - we invented the New Year party. We rule! :lol: ).
Christmas Day always sucks. My parents go on and on about how much I'll love the present they've bought me but it's always something crap that they know I don't like and they've bought just to annoy me (like a cutesie dress or something). Then, after we've opened our gifts in the morning, we'll avoid each other untill about 3pm when we'll have dinner. Then my parents will force me to talk to them for a few hours after which I'll retreat to my room with a bottle of vodka and get absolutely wasted for the rest of the day and try to forget everything.
I hate it. Christmas Day is even more depressing than my birthday - it makes me wanna kill myself.

NO! I used to love Christmas & everything about it, but people have ruined it for me, plus we never have any money anymore to buy gifts & stuff & that sux ass!! I dread the holidays coming. I have lots of family but they're a-holes who fight all the time so that rules out family at Christmas. Christmas is too commercial too. **** Christmas!!!!
