I name some movie studios and production companies I would be interested in seeing return, along with explaining the difficulty of closed studios (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Defunct_film_and_television_production_companies_of_the_United_States) being reopened.

I would have to say Orion Pictures should make a comeback because they were huge in the 80's and made hit movies such as Mermaids and The Woman In Red from 1984. And also Key Video should make a big comeback as well

Does anyone remember Vidmark Home Video? They were a big movie label and were gonna go far but they went bankrupt. Another movie studio that was huge was New World Studios and they created Girls Just Wanna Have Fun The Movie as well as other movies but only the TV division of New World Entertainment exists now

What about CBS/FOX Home Video? They also were big during the 80's and created lots of 80's movies and they also owned the previously mentioned Key Video. Another movie studio that should make a comeback is Hemdale Home Video because they had competition with Disney and Warner Bros and made animated movies as well as other movies too
