I wish TV stations would make creative promos like ones done years ago. I'm sure some are still being produced but they are far and few between.

I don't know if it would be called a promo, but Nick at Nite and TV Land aired Brady: An American Chronicle in 1995 to promote The Brady Bunch Movie.

It was a mockumentary spoof of the PBS documentary on The Civil War by Ken Burns. The special had noted scholars and authors discussing The Bradys as serious cultural matter. It was very funny and creative.
