He was adult when he took the role in "Still the Beaver." Nobody forced him to do it.

Sadly most peoples minds have been so severly compromised now stevie they cant think straight or remember anything correctly from that long ago......

Tony Dow struggled with being stereotyped and depression. Everything I've read he came to terms with his anger through other avenues like directing and his work with art.
Guy wasn't a bs artist and was up front. These metv excerpt articles should stick to light fluff subjects.

I met Jerry back in 1988 when he appeared in a show I was on. He was a very nice and polite man. Of course he was representing Leave It To Beaver at the time.
