I am wondering what the back-story is on "Arnold". How and why did he take over the restaurant, etc.?

Arnold got to married to a Japanese girl named Momo in the episode "Arnold's Wedding". Fonize was Arnold's best man. This was at the end of the 3rd season which was was in the Spring of 1976. In that fall of 1976 Happy Days started it's fourth season and Alfred Delvecchio played by Al Molinaro took over Arnolds. Pat Morita did appear in The Graduation" episode to see Richie, Potsie and Ralph graduate from Jefferson High School. At the end of the 9th season which was in the Spring of 1982 Al got married to Chachi's mother Louisa Arcola and the moved to Chicago. It was then that the Joanie Loves Chachi spin-off started. Joanie Loves Chachi was canceled in less then a year and Joanie and Chachi, returned to Milwaukee and were on Happy Days during the last season. Al and Louisa did return from the final episode of Happy Days entitled "Passages 2" in which Chachi and Joanie got married. As far Pat Morita, he came back to run Arnolds when Al went to Chicago. This of course was in the fall of 1982. I think he and Momo were divorced but I am not 100% sure
