Which season of the series do you think was the worst and why?

Here are the choices:
Season 1: 1979-1980
Season 2: 1980-1981
Season 3: 1981-1982
Season 4: 1982-1983
Season 5: 1983-1984
Season 6: 1984-1985
Season 7: 1985-1986
Season 8: 1986-1987
Season 9: 1987-1988

I know most Nancy fanatics will say season 1, but I say 9. I'd rather watch a season 1 ep over a season 9 just cuase it wasn't as boring. Season 8 was great, but 9 just got really got weird. Especially with the addition of Pippa. They were doing just fine and it's beyond me why they needed to bring in that little aussie.

I'm not a Nancy fanatic, but I'm going to say season 1. I'm not fond of season 9 so far either. I can't choose which one I like the least. It's a toss up between those two.

I used to hate season 1, I like it now but I still think I would choose that.

not necessarily a Nancy fanatic, but I'd also go with season 1. Just too "weird" and the other girls just weren't as good as Blair, Nat and Toot.

Season 1, was not really cut out as one of the best seasons. It really didn't have the special touch, many of the other seasons had carried, and the fact that Jo wasn't part of that season made it look even more riduculous having all of these girls, put into one episode with one storyline. In the following season, things started to shape-up, and things were going well with Nancy.
