While I was watching the Oscars tonight, I found this YouTube clip of Tony Dow (who as we all know here sadly died in real life in 2022 at age 77 of Liver Cancer, 24 hours after his death was falsely and erroneously reported) in healthier days recalling a real-life Incident on the set of "Leave It To Beaver" where Ken Osmond (who played Eddie Haskell) brought a magazine with "girly pics" to the set, and according to Tony, while the two were being tutored on set, Ken, as a Prank, put one such "girly pic" on Tony's desk, with the set teacher subsequently putting her hand on the desk before Tony could close the picture, thus getting Tony into trouble / hot water on the set in real life.

When I first saw this, I thought to myself, "This would have made a PERFECT episode of Leave It To Beaver back in the day." Except instead of "girly pics," I'd have had the character Eddie Haskell put a live Dog on Wally's desk and gotten Wally into trouble THAT way at School with his high-school Principal.

Tell me folks: would that incident Tony describe have made an INTERESTING episode of "Leave It To Beaver"? Please respond in kind. Thanks in advance.

Too big--maybe they're passing around something like a restaurant menu, and Wally gets caught with it. And as a backstory they'd been talking about leaving the building and having a good lunch for a change.

So the teacher (played by Wally Cox) catches Wally with the menu and sends him to the principal's office.

The principal says leaving the school grounds is a serious thing, and considers suspending him. Wally uses the public phone in the hall and calls Ward. He comes down to the school and works out an alternate punishment with the principal.
