In 1988 the Texas Tourism board launched a commercial with an energetic fast talking guy who encourages people to learn more about the wonders of Texas by calling for a free guidebook and the commercial shows highlights of the many places to visit in Texas such as The Alamo to the marvelous sights of Austin then the commercial ends with the slogan "Texas A Whole Other Country" My mother had the exact same Texas travel guide seen in this commercial and I found it amazing that Texas really does offer a whole lot of exciting things and fascinating places to see and it's no secret that Texas is the most visited state in the world
