Why has antenna tv not added any NEW Sitcoms from the 1950’s & 1960’s.
I love Me TV & Catchy Comedy the only problem is they have so many sitcoms but do not air them Regularly or just air them once a week or during a certain Season only.

They likely just don’t have the funds for it.
Outside of “My Favorite Martian,” they have added NOTHING in the last two years. Frankly they shouldn’t have split off Rewind; sure there would be more recent stuff, but at least there would be a LITTLE bit of a mix.
They had “Mister Ed” for quite a while; now gone. I myself wouldn’t mind seeing “December Bride” or “The People’s Choice”—even going farther back like “My Little Margie” or “I Married Joan”. But I figure that none of the shows above have been remastered/digitized. Today, that’s a prerequisite!

"Meet Corliss Archer" was a radio series from 1943 to 1956. So the TV series was based on that program. There was a 1948 comic book, but again radio came first.

The MeTV family of channels have a lot of black and white shows. FeTV shows the first 2 seasons of Bewitched in original black and white. Cozi TV has The Munsters. I think Mister Ed and The Patty Duke Show are owned by MGM so they might be available.
Many of the shows that franciis listed are public domain. Some of those shows are in crappy quality especially December Bride.
Years ago Get TV ran Ensign O'Toole, and Pete Loves Mary.
So I guess if you need a fix of black and white sitcoms check out YouTube and Tubi. Tubi shows their shows unedited. Many YouTube offerings do the same..

I have one episode of December Bride -- I don't remember where it came from but it was pretty bad. I'd like to see a few more to see if other episodes are better.
It lasted several seasons. It was a Desilu property and I don't know if the copyrights have lapsed. It's been out of circulation for many years and probably was never even mastered to videotape (same with the other shows).

Dailymotion has a bunch of episodes. Unfortunately many are colorized. This is a link to about 50 episodes. If searching December Bride you'll see ones in original black and white.

Umm, probably the same reason your local oldies radio station isn't adding songs from the 50s and 60s. In fact they are probably purging tunes from the 70s in favor of 80s and 90s. It's called aging demographics.
