Oscar Nuñez will reprise his "The Office" role of “Oscar Martinez” in the Peacock follow up series known as Untitled Greg Daniels/Michael Koman Project, Deadline has confirmed.

Rumored to be called The Paper, the new mockumentary series is set in the same universe as NBC’s Emmy Award-winning hit series "The Office".

Oscar Nuñez and Angela Kinsey are sharing new details about the forthcoming spinoff of "The Office".

The former Dunder Mifflin coworkers appeared on "Today" to celebrate the original American sitcom's 20th anniversary alongside costars Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Kate Flannery, and Ellie Kemper.




Nuñez confirmed that he will reprise his role as Oscar Martínez. "They're still editing and stuff," Nuñez said. "It's very, very exciting."

Kinsey clarified the premise of the new show, which was created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. "Isn't the understanding that you're following the documentary crew to a new location and you happen to be there?" the actress, who played accountant Angela Martin on the NBC sitcom, asked Nuñez.

Her former costar confirmed, "That's right." He remained tight-lipped about further details, but promised, "More will be revealed, as my wife likes to say."




Kinsey also said that she visited the set of the new show alongside Jenna Fischer.

"Jenna and I stopped by set," she said. "Greg had invited us, and we showed up, and not only was Oscar there, but our crew, so many of these wonderful people. 'Cause the crew was our extended family, and we're still really close with them, and that was really moving to see."
