I got to watch the debut episode of Beyond The Gates on Paramount+ today and to be honest I think CBS has proven themselves worthy of a monster hit soap opera. From the intro which cleverly begins with The Emotions hit Best Of My Love you know you're in for a surprise as you meet some interesting characters. The theme song for Beyond The Gates reminds me of a theme for a Nintendo Switch adventure game and really sets the tone of this soap opera well. I had no idea Clifton Davis was in this soap opera but he still shows his acting talents well. Beyond The Gates has the feel of a telenovela but shows strong promise and really sets the tone of it well. I do think that CBS got inspiration from ABC's Dynasty when creating this soap opera which I think they were planning to do. I was surprised that Procter And Gamble Productions produced Beyond The Gates because I thought they no longer existed but this soap opera is a worthy comeback for them

I think CBS will score another feather or two in their cap because I think Beyond The Gates will be another success like As The World Turns and Guiding Light and steal the spotlight from The Young And The Restless and The Bold And The Beautiful. When I saw the debut episode of Beyond The Gates I do believe that they copied Dynasty and you can see the action and adventure in the fight scenes. What was the first product sponsorship plug commercial for Beyond The Gates debut episode? Was it Tide or Mr. Clean since Beyond The Gates is produced by Procter And Gamble Productions they sure like to do product sponsorship plug commercials for Procter And Gamble products on their soap operas
