At first I didn’t care for Jolene; nobody could replace Flo. However, as I get deeper into the later seasons she has grown on me. She was spunky, cute and had good chemistry with the cast. Her repeated insults about Mel do get a bit tiresome though. The writers should have given her a little more depth.

I know I'm in the minority with this, but I always liked Jolene far better than Flo or Belle.

Jolene worked really well on the show considering she was the third wheel so to speak. All the casting on the show was beyond excellent which is why it was so successful.

I liked Jolene, she was on longer than even Flo was. She became a regular feature of the diner. I like that, aside from a strong Southern accent, she didn't try to imitate Flo.
