While I think the sitcom genre has introduced some of the best TV characters ever, there are some that, even years later, I just can't stand one bit.

I totally agree on Howard, TBBT would be better without him. Sheldon isn't awful though, Jim Parsons' acting makes this show stand out (and of course led to a franchise).

Urkel -- I can't think of worse.

Jack from Will & Grace is my number one worst TV character.

Adam Sandler is another!!

Every one of the characters mentioned are from shows from the last 30 years or less. This some what gives me the impression shows and characters from the last 30 years are awful. Out of the shows mentioned I have only seen one.

Even though Alan Harper eventually was flanderized into a worse person than he originally was, he was pretty much a saint compared to most other characters on that show.

Since I had a crush on him as a teenager, I guess I can only say that I disagree.
