Roberta Flack was truly a great of the music world.

I first discovered Roberta Flack when I was in an FYE store and her 1994 album Roberta was there and so I bought it and to my surprise I found Roberta amazing. I especially loved her cover of Sweet Georgia Brown which is fun. My aunt later got me Roberta Flack's debut album First Take which had her cover of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face which my mom liked after hearing it in the movie Play Misty For Me and that is a great song

And if my memory serves correctly Roberta Flack sang the theme song to The Hogan Family/Valerie/Valerie's House titled Together Through The Years

Wow, no I didn't know that. I will Google and listen to it ! :)

One of my favorite songs of hers was "You're Lookin' Like Love to Me," a very underrated duet with Peabo Bryson -- from their 1983 album "Born to Love." Superb song! Let me know if you remember that one.
