He looks beautiful...... SitcomsAreTheWay 10-22-2002, 11:15 PM Originally posted by JennyLee22 Thank you Sitcomsaretheway........... He looks beautiful...... I agree! G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!! I don't think he realized that he was a very attractive man. :( Joy 10-22-2002, 11:40 PM I agree and i think that had a lot to do with his good looks, because to me any man who thinks he is attractive looses something in a big way. Cheryl Harrell 10-23-2002, 04:10 AM Thanks for posting that! I have done the same thing taken pics off the E-TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY & CATM etc with my digital camera. It's a good way to get copies of that stuff in pics... Cheryl Harrell 10-23-2002, 04:57 AM I took this one with my camera & then did a weird effect on it... Prince 10-23-2002, 08:05 PM I have a digital camera and tried taking photos of Freddie off from the TV but only got a bunch of glare. Do you have to have a special attachment on your camera to do this??? Please let me know....I am anxious to take so snapshots of him. Karen64 10-23-2002, 09:34 PM What gorgeous pics! Especially the first one on the thread! I love his view from the side; he has a terrific profile! Those dimples!!! Joy 10-23-2002, 10:15 PM I would love the second one even more if Kathy were not in it. It is so beautiful and there is something kind of playfully sexy in his expression!!!! I wish he were thinking of me LOL I know I know get a life! Cheryl Harrell 10-24-2002, 06:40 AM Try taking them without flash & see what happens. They may come out too dark but if so you can lighten them with a photo editiing program like the free IRFAN VIEW program. That is a good one from lightning & darkening photos (Hit shift G to do that) & resizing pics & cropping them etc. I've also read you can cover the flash with a hankie & that will let the flash go off but without the glare. I've tried that before & it did cut down on the glare. One nice thing about the digital cameras is if a pic come out goofed up you can delete it. I highly recommend using the ones that use flashcards or smart cards/disks to save the pics on instead of the ones that save them internally in the camera. They may cost more but are worth it. The ones that have where it is stored in the camera & not on disk only hold so many pics & don't take very many pics & no telephoto lens. Plus they usually use usb cords to hook them up to the camera & usb won't work with older puters like 486s & Pentiums 1's etc. & Using your camera to downloading from there onto floppy disks etc runs down your batteries more. If you use the ones that save them on the flash or smart cards/disks you can buy a reader to plug into your puter to read off the disk to save them on floppy disks etc & not have to fool with downloading direct from the camera which saves on batteries. Or for laptops they make ones that fit into yoru PCMCIA card. I got one for my laptop for only $12... Someone on here like either Rosalyz or Starshine had special equipment to take pics off the tv & took a bunch & had them in some of Freddie YAHOO CLUBS which are now groups. When YAHOO switched the clubs to e-mail groups, some of them got lost. I tried to restore some of them but all weren't restored I'm afraid. I wish I had a program like that! I could go nuts taking pics off the tv! :) Good luck! Cheryl Harrell 10-24-2002, 06:46 AM If you don't want the tv set to be in your pic & just have Chico or whatever be in your pic, you can use cropping to crop out the tv set. That what I've done in most of my pics taken off the tv... Cheryl Harrell 10-24-2002, 06:54 AM Also if you taken the pics without flash be sure to have all the lights in the room on so you will have enough light & they won't be too dark. I think I took this pic off the tv here with a regular 35 MM camera... MariposaLKB 10-24-2002, 07:22 AM ...in the second picture he looks like he is saying, "Don'tcha love me?!" As if he would need to ask any of us that question hee hee! OMG those eyes! If you need to get a life, what do I need to get LOL?! :happyface SitcomsAreTheWay 10-25-2002, 05:39 PM Originally posted by MariposaLKB ...in the second picture he looks like he is saying, "Don'tcha love me?!" If you need to get a life, what do I need to get LOL?! :happyface I would like to know that about myself also. I think we desperately need to register ourselves at the F. A. A. (Freddie Addicts Anonymous) Center. We really, REALLY need to. :) He had lovely, puppy dog eyes. They look as if they are screaming for affection in the second photo. Joy 10-25-2002, 07:57 PM Yes we are all in bad shape but what a way to go! SitcomsAreTheWay 10-30-2002, 01:40 AM Originally posted by Macca I have a digital camera and tried taking photos of Freddie off from the TV but only got a bunch of glare. Do you have to have a special attachment on your camera to do this??? Please let me know....I am anxious to take so snapshots of him. Yes, I have a USB (Universal Serial Bus) attachment that attaches from the camera to the USB port in the back of my tower. This allows the Digital Camera software program to read the images from the actual camera and loads them into it (the program). Well, after I snapped the images from my television with my camera, I loaded them into my software which was included with it (Digital Camera). I had to rewind the tape a few times until the image came out clear. Being that there were rings around his face (from the bits of the television screen), I edited the images by blurring them until they (the rings) faded away by selecting the highest blurring number. The rings are still visable, but not that much. I also darkened the second image a little to remove some of the brightness from it. After you save them to your hard drive, you have to resize them in order to post them on a certain site. I hope this helps! :) |
