In 1993 Pearle Vision Centers launched a commercial "this commercial might've promoted a Veteran's Day sale" This commercial begins with Air Force pilots returning home from war in the 40's while a voiceover says "At Pearle we honor our heroes" and then it mentions how you can bring in a prescription that you wrote and Pearle Vision honored that prescription with a special sale on glasses. It's rare to see commercials like this one honoring our brave military heroes and we deserve more commercials like this one
