I couldn't believe when I got my Jeffersons First Season DVD how many scenes that were missing from syndication that they have added!!! The one with the most scenes added is the episode "Lionel Cries Uncle",where they added at least 5 minutes of stuff that they didn't include in syndication: For instance,they added where Lionel tells George that he's on the Dean's List,where George tells Louise that he has to lie about her uncle and her family,wherein Louise has to lie sometimes about his mother,when Mother Jefferson comes to dinner and that she didn't feel welcome and she told Louise that she would eat in the kitchen and Louise told her that she would sit at the table like everyone else,when Mother Jefferson asks Louise to get her some coffee,and Louise tells her to get it herself,Mother Jefferson says,"might as well go to a cafeteria for the service I get around here",and Louise said,"It's going to be a long day,George! A very long day!! Then Mother Jefferson spots the silverware George bought and says that Louise found another way of spending George's money and when Louise says that George bought it for her,she says,"Lovely,very lovely"!!!
Some more scenes they've added include the one where Louise is singing "I'm Sitting On Top Of The World" from "Louise Feels Useless"!!
The one from "Lionel The Playboy" where Lionel sings "Life Is A Cabaret"!!
The one where they show the piano's full length in "Mr. Piano Man",and Louise tells Florence that she didn't let Louise know when the movers were coming with the piano!!!
Can't wait for Season 2 to come out!!!!!

OMG..I bought my DVD today!! The first volume (the WHOLE season one). It was like $21! OMG...it was 2 CDs, its got a lil sheet with an episode guide..the box is NICE its got the lyrics..OMG..I LOVE it!:D And to think in 99 I HATED it. :p
