To me, her top role will always be Lois Morgan, Ellen's mom on the '90s sitcom Ellen, in which she appeared in 28 episodes over the course of five seasons.

That is very sad news but she had a great run! Rest in peace Alice!

To me, she'll always be Mrs. Jackson from 7th Heaven. She was Annie's mom on that show.
