While their previous effort, Outta Here, wasn't a huge success, Nickelodeon still wanted a wild audience participation game show that promoted Nickelodeon Studios and served as a theme park attraction. So, with Marc Summers as host and the producer of Wild & Crazy Kids, we got What Would You Do? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_Would_You_Do%3F_(1991_TV_program)) A show all about pies, hidden cameras, and tourists being put in danger.

During his time on Nickelodeon Marc Summers was already Nickelodeon's king of game shows and with Double Dare ending it's run in 1993 Marc Summers was about to focus on other projects when fortune smiled on him when he got the chance to have another game show but this game show did not involve trivia or physical challenges or an obstacle course finale. It was a show that was part game show part talent show and part talk show and thus What Would You Do was born. And from the time the first episode premiered Nickelodeon had a hit on their hands because this show was different than other Nickelodeon game shows and returning as assistant from her role on Double Dare was Robin Marrella and with Marc Summers as host he made this show a monster hit. Of course like Double Dare audience members had challenges like eating 20 marshmallows in 30 seconds or saying the alphabet backwards fast. And of course you had the iconic famous Pie Pod which audience could be sent to if they decided not to do the challenge which involved the person getting hit with pies and if they had trouble dodging the pies the famous Crowning Glory was added along with the Pie Slide in later seasons. Then the most famous part of What Would You Do? was the famous What Would You Do? Medley which audience members had to wear business cards on their heads and the cards listed things like "Hidden Talent" or Do A Silly Dance" and the same Pie Pod rule was used for the What Would You Do? Medley if the audience member chose not to do what was listed on their card. This is one show that needs a revival for Paramount+ because it seems to be a forgotten Nickelodeon show and Wayne Brady could host the What Would You Do? revival easily if it existed
