View Full Version : Pippa....
Czas na Zywiec 10-21-2002, 07:44 PM I finally got to see Pippa in an ep today and had no clue that you pronounced her name Pip-a. I always though it was pronounced Pipe-a. LOL! ;) I dunno, anyway, yea I agree with most of you when you saw you think she's annoying. I mean there really was no point for her to be there. Did they really have to write her into the show?
DarleneIllyria 10-21-2002, 08:49 PM I have to admit that I do have one of Sherrie's cds she released a few years ago. However, her acting just wasn't all that great. I have three words for everybody: Jump the Shark.
FOL was doing great without Pippa. FOL is the only show that comes to my mind where the characters didn't lose their edge. Look at Opie Taylor, when he got to be 13 years old he became a dork. Look at Beaver Cleaver, the same thing happened to him. While Opie and Beaver grew older, they lost the edge in their character. The FOL girls didn't lose that edge. Why did they mess with something that wasn't broken to start with???
Impressions 10-21-2002, 10:34 PM I thought the same thing too, I thought the writers made a large change by adding a new character it told us that they were running out of ideas. I think they should have fitted her into the show a little bit more, instead of just showing up at their doorstep, wondering who she was, and why she was there. What bothers me, is that if the girls were at Langley and Pippa was at Eastland, wouldn't it be easiest if she would have came earlier in the series when the girls were at Eastland, or maybe shouldn't have never even came at all, it might have saved the series. Was there any reason why she was added, if there was really no real logical explanation. It was a good thing they tried something new, but yet a bad thing it really didn't work out.

My brother has "Never Been Kissed" downloaded on his computer....practically everytime I go in his room he's playing THAT song!!!I always go, "SHE was on FOL." he just roll his eyes...
Anyways...I agree.."If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" New characters aren't like Duct Tape...they don't FIX EVERYTHING!!!
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 10-21-2002, 11:18 PM UGh....Pippa. Blech.

I agree with you. It didn't really make sense to have all the girls in Langley and Pippa shows up. I guess Pippa is going to be closer friends with Andy since they look to be around the same age.
I do have to admit that I liked one part in the first Pippa episode. Pippa's dad shows up and Natalie goes to answer the door and she says "It's Crocodile Dundee!" lol
