One of the few products to promote Valentine's Day was Scope Mouthwash and in the 90's Scope Mouthwash created a commercial that originally aired in February 1995/96. The commercial begins with a man surprising his wife by saying Happy Valentine's Day then the wife asks what he has given her then the guy gives her a gift and a card and the wife says "A card" and then he shows her a bottle of Scope Mouthwash and then the commercial ends with "Happy Valentine's Day from Scope" This commercial promoted a special deal when you bought a bottle of Scope Mouthwash you received a coupon for a Valentine's Day card when you bought the card along with the mouthwash. It's a shame you don't see Valentine's Day commercials like this anymore but there should be more made to honor Valentine's Day today
