Assuming MeTV ever follows through with a streaming channel what would you like to see on it?

I'd like to see-
Terrytoons, especially Deputy Dawg

The public domain Mickey Mouse cartoons since the rest of Disney is probably off limits

The Censored Eleven, WWII propaganda cartoons, and other politically incorrect/stereotypical cartoons. They should be showcased as and educational display with commentary between cartoons discussing the history of those cartoons.

An expanded " Cartoon College " formated similar to the old Toonheads from Cartoon Network.

Peanuts, especially the holiday cartoons.

Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Tinytoon Adventures

If this is a commercial driven streaming channel then I hope they use old commercials of existing products/services that used cartoon characters as spokepersons.

I forgot about the last 3 you listed. Excellent choices. Maybe they can get some old Sugar Crisp commercials with Sugar Bear. Linus' cereals don't exist now.

How I forgot Beany & Cecil. One of my all time favorites include the reboot from the late '80's.

So I'll also add The new Adventures of Mighty Mouse from 1979. The original would be with Terrytoons from my list.

I'd also like to see the shows similar to The Flintstones and Scooby Doo. Where's Huddles, The Roman Hollidays, Clue Club, The Funky Phantom, Goober and the Ghost Chasers, Jabberjaw

The Censored 11 and other cartoons are probably withheld by Warner. All of them could be in a separate block, and shown with the "Product of Its Time" disclaimer, and some special narration. There is a pretty long list of Looney Tunes (and Tom and Jerrys for that matter) that aren't shown.

True, there are alot of cartoons not shown due to content. Yet now on MeTV Toons you'll see cartoons with Native Americans with no disclaimers. Plus the Bear Family cartoons from Warner Brothers which depict domestic violence and child abuse and PePee LePew which depicts sexual harassment. They lack disclaimers as well. One interesting thing for the Buzzy the Crow cartoons have altered Buzzy's voice to sound less stereotypically African American. He used to sound like Rochester from The Jack Benny Program.

True those may seem to be a bit of an out reach. Yet I worked in mental health and heard people talking about being triggered by just about anything including cartoons. So I'm sensitive to those possibilities.

I'm a big Chuck Jones fan, but those Bear Family cartoons aren't funny, except the original with Bugs Bunny. In addition to the PG rating, they could display the disclaimer slide. Really, they're just subpar cartoons.

This is off-topic, but yes, there are a lot of things that can be triggers, depending where on the spectrum a person is. We have some 43 foot high Church Sanctuary lighting, and a ceiling fan mounted up there, too. The fan creates a strobing effect with the lights, so we have to turn off the fan during occupancy. The strobing can be a trigger.

I do think the PG rating is adequate to cover Pepé Le Pew. People need to realize old theatrical cartoons are what they are.

Aren’t the censored 11 on low rent VHS tapes and low rent DVDs? That’s what I read from Wikipedia which of course is just as reliable as the Enquirer.

Actually some stations do run TV ratings for all content they show including cartoons.

True for those who sceen or know what to expect in any given cartoon. But there are times where someone is watching certain cartoons and they could trigger that person. When I worked in an adolescent psychiatric hospital the kids wanted to watch a horror movie. We ended up picking something Amazon Prime video had listed as horror. It was actually about domestic violence/child abuse. At the point that I realized through the dialog in the movies that it was going to get ugly I shut it down. Then I needed to explain why I did that.

And before you ask. I really have no clue why horror movies are often the choice of the kids that I worked with. For the most part they were all fine after watching one. We kept the movies to PG sometimes PG13. But even those were scary.
