How do you guys feel about his new show on TNT-Raising the Bar? He's really grown a lot since his Saved by the Bell Days. He looks really different. Check out this interview with him wearing a fadora and talking about sports.

Thanks for the interview. I haven't watched it yet but I'm TiVoing the show as we speak! I'm glad you mentioned his new show because I had forgotten to start a thread on it! It looks like it's going to be a good one, especially since Stephen Bochco is the producer. He did NYPD Blue. Actually I found an interview with Mark-Paul in yesterday's local TV guide, so I'll try to post it here! I'm glad he's got a new show, but he does look a lot different than before! But really,that's not a bad thing at all! :)

I'm back! I finally had a chance to watch the premire episode, and I wasn't that impressed with it. Mainly because I've already started to despise one of the main characters. Jane Kaczmarek, whom I've liked in other stuff, plays a judge and she is such a #$@^%, that I cannot stand her! She makes me want to reach through the TV and strangle her (and since I know she's not really like that in person, that says a lot about her acting!). I don't know if I could watch this show every week and put up with her. But I'll probably keep watching just to see how it progresses.
Mark Paul is pretty good as the lawyer, but I still think that nothing will ever beat NYPD Blue. That show was the best!

As far as his hair is concerned, he says in that interview that he grew it out for the role.

PS: My mention of Jane not being like her character is pure speculation on my part. I've never met her, but I certainly hope she's not like that judge!
