Sprite had always tried to experiment with different ways to market their soda and by using celebrities such as Lebron James Kobe Bryant Drake and Missy Elliott in their commercials it has helped Sprite appeal to a generation of young adults and teens. In 2003 Sprite created what was gonna be a successful spin-off that hoped to be a mighty hit called Sprite Remix. Debuting in Summer 2003 Sprite Remix was first released in a tropical fruit flavor and to market it a commercial was launched featuring late rap artist Biz Markie. The commercial is set to a mix of colors and classic clips with a rap beat. And with it's amazing commercials Sprite Remix was indeed a big seller and proved that Sprite could try experimenting with other flavors besides lemon lime. In Winter of 2003 another flavor was added to Sprite Remix known as Aruba Jam and despite it's high selling point Sprite Remix sales went downhill after Aruba Jam's debut and like the first Sprite Remix commercial a new commercial was made for the new Aruba Jam flavor. But even with a new flavor Sprite Remix couldn't be saved and left store shelves in 2004
