Pick you favorite animation studio. If there are others that you like you can list them in the comment section.
My favorite is UPA. Their cartoons are often highly stylized. Being a Graphic Designer i like how their cartoons look.
My other choice would be:
Jay Ward for comedy - able to do adult and children comedy in the same cartoons
Disney for artistic quality - very illustrator driven images
MGM for developing stories - all their award winning cartoons had well thought out story telling
Hanna-Barbera for innovation - even though it reduced the quality of animation they set things up to generate more cost effective cartoons.
