In my box of music I found Debbie Gibson's album Anything Is Possible and it came out in 1990 and I am curious to know the history behind the album? The album had four singles which were the title track a dance song called One Step Ahead a ballad titled One Hand One Heart and a ballad called This So-Called Miracle which was the most famous song of Anything Is Possible. I read that this album was the start of a mature Debbie Gibson because she had turned 20 at the time the album was released and many people thought the album was similar to Tiffany's New Inside also released in 1990 and many people don't remember that this album existed. Was Anything Is Possible not well-recieved by critics when it debuted for Debbie Gibson?

I collected some of Debbie Gibson's albums and Anything Is Possible was one album I didn't own at the time so I got it as an early Christmas gift many moons ago and when I listened to Anything Is Possible it did have the 90's sound and Debbie was smart to make the first half dance songs and the second half ballads but I think when she went on tour with New Kids On The Block the tour really helped promote this album and I think that's why Anything Is Possible sold well but it was her next album from 1993 that changed Debbie Gibson's image and you could tell she had a more adult image with the next album
