I was watching an episode the other day, "Summer of George", I think it was. It had a theme throughout that men find the idea of two women fighting (a "catfight") titillating.
Elaine asks Jerry why that is, and Jerry says that it is because men think that if two women are fighting, at some point they might inadvertently kiss. This line has always bothered me.
First off, I don't think that is the reason at all. I don't think the idea of kissing even enters into it. It's more of a primal reaction to the activity. If anything, they might hope an article of clothing gets torn off. But kiss? Nah. That seems so way off base.
