I’ve seen this expression used on this forum and elsewhere, here is an interesting video on this.

Basically, if you want to insult someone you should make sure to include a compliment. “I think that’s a stupid idea, but I believe you know what to do.” Also, it’s important to consider when to apply this.

So much is in the interpretation of what is said and how takem by the other....I understand what you are saying but words are words.... Thinking back many yrs James when I arrived on SO one or two members were telling me to leave, Remember????

And then there is plain Meaness toward someone and I've been hit with that one a lot. Thick skin helps. Thanks James...... Oh and thanks and thank you is missing a lot around here....
