Sorry it's taken me awhile to respond, I've been so incredibly busy with papers, midterms, etc.

An Explosive Affair is probably one of my favourite episodes of WKRP, as it seems to be with you guys. Phone Cops? Priceless... The part at the end where Les says, "Johnny, Venus, you're alive!?... I'll have to update my news report..." ? SO funny.

Great stuff.

you make me sick!!!! how could you!!!

Now ill have to go look to see what you misspelled. <G>

I dont like to think of explosive affair as a right on episode(s), I much prefer to think
of it as "right the f*** on"

I havent watched it for a month or so, so I can't think of any exact lines i loved, but the phone cops thing was the best. My mom worked at the phone company back then, and they got a LOT of milage out of that one.

hello detectivegriffin
in the subject line i misspelled the word explosive.
i accidently posted "an elplosive affair" when it should have said "an explosive affair" and i tried to edit the subject line and could'nt.
like i said it was about 3am in the morning when i posted this thread and that was after spending a few hours at the bar.
at about 2am i got home and watched "an EXPLOSIVE affair" for the first time in a couple of months to refresh my memory.
anyways it's nice to hear from you and i hope discuss many more episodes of wkrp in cincinnati with you and alot of others.
everybodys invited to the weekly wkrp in cincinnati episode disscussion.
the more the marrier!
i would be happy to see this board become half as popular as the "chico and the man" board.

This is definitely one of my favorites. I haven't seen it in a while. Is this the one when Les goes on the air to air a special report and not knowing that they are off the air. Very funny

I liked the fact that The John Davidson Show was referenced and I also like the fact that most of the original music is preserved in this episode (e.g [I]Talk to you Later The Tubes, Celebration Kool and the Gang, Slow Hand The Pointer Sisters etc.
